A Message from Dr. Magar
I’m thrilled you’re considering our practice for your care. After attending the VCU School of Medicine and completing my residency at The George Washington University, I stayed in the area to begin my practice. As a Fairfax County native, returning to the DMV to practice medicine felt like coming home.
I have practiced medicine in the DMV for over 12 years. After residency I spent several years in practice as a hospital-based physician in Washington, D.C., but I missed not having the opportunity to forge longitudinal relationships and real continuity with my patients. It was for this reason that I decided to make the transition to primary care in the Vienna–Fairfax area.
At The Vienna Clinic, I practice medicine the way it should be — personal, accessible, and focused on you. I take the time to listen, learn the whole story behind your symptoms, and build a care plan that fits your life.
Patients appreciate my bedside manner and the supportive way I approach their care. I’m grateful for the trust they place in me and remain committed to listening carefully, and supporting each person’s health journey.
My wife and I both grew up around Vienna, and now live here with our two Shih Tzus. We also recently welcomed a baby boy into the world—so I understand how a busy home life and work life can get in the way of taking care of yourself!
